Annabel Rockett

Annabel read Classical Studies at the University of Edinburgh before completing an MPhil in Classics at the University of Cambridge, where she was supervised by Laura Castelli. She is currently writing her DPhil in Classical Languages and Literature at the University of Oxford, under Tobias Reinhardt. Her doctoral research explores the intersections of ancient philosophy, music, and cosmology in the Late Antique tradition. Alongside her academic work, she is a classically trained mezzo-soprano, and is drawn to the resonances between musical practice and the pursuit of philosophical harmony.
